a doula was until I was pregnant. I feel fortunate to have found Leigh because my birth experience with my daughter is one I would repeat. Leigh took time to meet with my husband and me a few times before my due date. She truly wanted to understand our concerns and expectations. I could tell she was willing to work with different clients, given their individual desires (i.e. epidural versus no epidural). She helped provide a calm, relaxing atmosphere in the delivery room with music and lavender. Perhaps my gratitude is greatest in the way she helped my husband understand what is normal, how to read the medical machines and what to do to aid me in my comfort. I would certainly want to have Leigh to work with in my next delivery."
